Jewell R. Parker founded The Parker Firm, LLC on the belief that everyone, regardless of socio-economic status, is entitled to competent, vigorous and zealous representation in any legal matter they may be faced with. The Parker Firm is unique in that it counsels the whole person while protecting its clients’ interests and advising of all legal rights. Currently, The Parker Firm is handling a wide range of matters that include criminal matters, family law, entertainment, contract formation and disputes, traffic/dui, personal injury and business law. The firm has a spanish-speaking attorney so we are able to handle all matters for the spanish-speaking community.
Jewell R. Parker, Esq. is a native Washingtonian who attended Howard University where she received a B.S. in Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Care Management. Ms. Parker graduated from the David. A. Clarke School of Law where she served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Kaye K. Christian of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and Legislative Intern for the Honorable Kwame Brown of the City Council of the District of Columbia. Also, while in law school Ms. Parker participated in Landlord/Tenant and Legislative Clinical experiences, Trial Advocacy and Moot Court.
Recently, Ms. Parker worked for the Department of Justice as a Law Clerk for over two years working on civil litigation matters and has attended and prepared for many trials in federal court.
Prior to law school, Ms. Parker worked for an employment/labor law firm working on personal injury and subrogation matters.
